Free box!
Hope packing is going well for everyone. I have one of those plastic under-the-bed boxes that would be great to pack in for anyone driving home or using storage...I just can't use it because I'm flying home. It's free, and will be just outside deroy 208-just come pick it up!

P.S. - Anyone here going to be a Massell and/or Deroy Hall person? So far, I think I know of 20 people living in my dorm. We will all live on one floor. It will be rad.

Hey, well on a day home sick with nothing to do i have stumbled upon our LJ community! it took me so long to realize someone would have made one since i was too consumed with facebook. Anyyyway ive met some of you through facebook + jeremey from "the past" and if i dont know people then hi to you too. im Jody, i have no idea what i want to major in...poly sci? religious studies? ummm im taking a year off to go to israel with young judea. im scared of having a crappy roomate whos younger then me. and i filled out the housing form anyway because i didnt tell brandeis i was defering and also why did it have no real submit button. thats kindda weird.
oh and jeremy-what happend to your obsession with incubus? i noticed it didnt make the list of favorite bands.

since introductions seem to be the theme...
My name's Sarah...I'm originally from Vermont, but I've been living in the US Virgin Islands for a while now and I go to boarding school in Western Mass. (Northfield, to be exact).I'm not really decided about what I want to study, perhaps some combination of Environmental Science, Women's Studies, and Religion, although I might also be interested in persuing Legal Studies....which is all to say I'm not sure yet. Two of the things that I care most about are multicultural justice/understanding and a sense of spirituality, which is probably why I feel like Brandeis is such a good fit for me.I love Brandeis, and I'm very excited about the class of 2010.

On another note, did anyone else fill out the housing survey yet?

Hmm.. seems like the theory that it was a Brandeis requirement for EDers to be Broadway fans is holding up somewhat. :p

I'm Allie from Georgia. Not even Atlanta but middle of nowhere north Georgia. But don't let that fool you, I'm still a complete Yankee (although, not a Yankees fan, that's a whole other story) even though I moved here when I was 2.

So, I'm a nutcase and want to triple major with a minor on top of doing the 5 year masters program. I'm just that awesome. I want to dual major in Latin American studies and international studies with the 5 year masters program in poli sci, with a minor in history of ideas. I'll just be in school for the rest of my life. But that's all good.

I like to talk a lot, and will talk to just about anyone. My IM is "so allies like". Hit me up, yo. :)

Hi! I'm Miriam (Mir) from Cleveland, Ohio. I love to dance :) I'm also interested in theater and music, as well as science (another science/art dork!) I probably want to take advantage of the triple-major thing, for dance, physics, and women's studies, although I'm sure that will change (weekly). I guess I keep making a habit of putting too much on my plate, as per usual, but I want to live every single moment of my life. Umm, what else? Well, that sounds good for now. You can message me on AIM too at LaVieBoheme514 if you'd like. See you next year :)

I already posted this as a comment, but I'll make it a legitimate post as well.

I'm Jeremy, a jew from a small suburban town called Orinda outside of San Francisco, CA. I'm most interested in majoring in Computer Science, Math, and possibly Psychology. Feel free to IM me at drjkdough. When it comes to my life outside of academics, music is my passion. I play the guitar, and I am constantly listening to music. My favorite musical artists are Cursive, Radiohead, Bjork, My Bloody Valentine, and Explosions in the Sky. My favorite movies are Donnie Darko, Pulp Fiction, Eraserhead, Being John Malkovich, and High Fidelity. I love to ski, and I occasionally rock climb(much like boundforbroadway). I look forward to meeting everyone next year!

P.S. If anyone is interested in helping me maintain this community if it gets larger, let me know.

First post!
If this community were a country, I would have conquered it so hard.
Anyway, I be Justine from the suburban hell of Cape Cod, MA. Hoorays! I'm interested in majoring in Creative Writing/Psychology/Anthropology, and minoring in Journalism.
Maybe someone else will post here, or perhaps comment on my entry so this community may witness some witty Brandeis banter.
(Yes, I am a self-proclaimed nerd. That's probably why I'm going to Brandeis. Though, I'm a film/video-game nerd more than anything else. Favorite director is Quentin Tarantino. Been playing Nintendo since the age of 3. That is my brief bio, unless anyone else cares to know anything else about me.)
